Golf Equipment Hire
Travel light by arranging equipment with the golf team before your round. All hire is subject to stock and course conditions. Please state whether you are playing nine or 18 holes and whether you need left- or right-handed clubs. Equipment must be returned to the golf lodge after use, within its agreed return arrangements. Hotel reception cannot promise a buggy or issue golf equipment without a golf-desk confirmation.
Visitor information
- Buggy tariff
- A two-seat buggy costs £20 for nine holes or £32 for 18 holes for visitors. Eligible golf members pay £15 or £24 respectively. Prices are per buggy, not per passenger.
- Buggy drivers
- Buggy drivers must be at least 18 and hold a full driving licence. A buggy carries at most two people and two golf bags. Children cannot drive or ride on the rear bag platform.
- Weather restrictions
- No. The golf team may withdraw buggy use for wet ground or unsafe conditions. If a paid buggy cannot be supplied because of a club restriction, the buggy hire fee is refunded; the green fee follows the separate course policy.
- Pull trolley
- A pull trolley costs £5 for either a nine-hole or an 18-hole visitor round. There is no member discount on pull-trolley hire and no electric-trolley hire service.
- Club sets
- An adult full set costs £15 for nine holes or £22 for 18 holes. Junior sets cost £8 or £12 respectively. Left-handed sets are limited and require an explicit availability check.
- Security deposit
- A refundable £50 security deposit per full club set is required in the fictional hire process. It is returned after complete, undamaged return; it is separate from the hire price and is not a purchase deposit.
- Personal equipment
- There is no visitor battery-charging or overnight trolley-storage service. Hotel residents may store a folded trolley in their vehicle; batteries must not be charged in hotel corridors or public areas.
