Meadow Nine-Hole Course
Meadow is a compact course designed for learning, family golf and shorter visits. There are six par-three holes and three par-four holes, so players can practise a range of shots without the length of a championship layout. Two circuits can be booked for visitors who would like a longer game. Meadow is still a working golf course: it is not a public picnic area, adventure-golf attraction or unsupervised play space. Sensible footwear and awareness of other groups remain important.
Visitor information
- Course layout
- Meadow measures 1,860 yards from the yellow tees and is par 30 over nine holes. An 18-hole ticket covers two circuits, with a combined nominal par of 60 and length of 3,720 yards.
- Beginner access
- Yes. No handicap certificate is required for Meadow, and beginners are welcome. Players should be able to move safely around the course and follow the guidance on keeping a reasonable pace.
- Child eligibility
- Children may play Meadow from age six. Children aged 6–12 must have an adult accompanying them. Ages 13–17 may play without an accompanying adult after the golf desk has checked them in.
- Accompanying adult
- One non-playing supervising adult may accompany up to two children without a green fee. If the adult also plays, they need their own adult green fee; the free supervisor arrangement is not a playing ticket.
- Expected duration
- Allow approximately one hour and 40 minutes for nine holes, or three hours and 20 minutes for two circuits. These are planning estimates rather than guaranteed completion times.
- Visitor starts
- Meadow visitor tee times normally begin at 08:00 daily, subject to daylight and conditions. There is no weekend after-noon restriction equivalent to Oakridge's; pre-booking is still required.
