Hotel
Check-In, Check-Out and Your Stay
Check-in and check-out times define both room access and the included resident leisure period. Arriving on the estate early is welcome, but an unconfirmed early room request should not be treated as an available bedroom. Hotel staff can discuss luggage arrangements and meal bookings within the fictional service model. Guests attending a wedding should still plan around hotel arrival times; the event schedule does not automatically move hotel check-in earlier.
Visitor information
- Standard arrival
- Standard check-in is from 15:00. Guests must be at least 18 to be the lead booker and must register all room occupants. A parent or guardian must accompany under-18s staying at the hotel.
- Standard departure
- Check-out is by 11:00. Included resident leisure access ends at check-out, so a guest cannot assume that a late-afternoon swim is included after returning their room key.
- Early arrival
- Confirmed early check-in from 12:00 costs £25 per room, subject to availability. It must be approved in advance; merely arriving at noon or requesting it in a message does not secure it.
- Late departure
- Confirmed late check-out until 13:00 costs £25 per room, subject to availability. It extends resident leisure access to 13:00; a departure later than that has no published fixed fee and requires an individual agreement.
- Late-night arrival
- Notify hotel reservations in advance for arrivals after 22:00 so the overnight duty team can prepare access. The hotel is not closed overnight, but the public reception and leisure desks follow their stated hours.
- Luggage storage
- Same-day luggage storage is free for registered hotel guests before check-in or after check-out, subject to reasonable space. It does not include secure storage of valuables or a room-access guarantee.
- Visitors to bedrooms
- No. Overnight occupants must be registered and within the room's maximum capacity. A daytime guest does not gain resident breakfast or leisure benefits by visiting a bedroom.
