Hotel Booking and Cancellation Terms
Check the rate type on the confirmation before applying a cancellation deadline. Flexible rooms, Advance Saver rooms and named breaks are separate booking products. Group room allocations agreed for events can have individually confirmed terms and must not be assumed to use a standard leisure rate. All times on this page use the hotel's local time in England. A booking change is only effective when the hotel team confirms it in writing.
Visitor information
- Flexible payment
- A standard flexible room booking requires a first-night deposit when confirmed; any remaining accommodation balance is due at check-in. The deposit forms part of the stay price and is not an extra fee.
- Flexible cancellation
- Cancel by 15:00 two calendar days before the arrival date for a full deposit refund. This is 48 hours before standard 15:00 check-in. After that deadline, the first night's room charge is retained.
- No-show
- For a standard flexible booking, a no-show is charged the first night and the remaining nights are released. Advance Saver and named-break bookings remain subject to their separate full-prepayment rules.
- Advance Saver terms
- Advance Saver rooms are fully prepaid and non-refundable. Date changes are not included. Travel disruption or a guest's change of plan does not automatically convert the booking to a flexible rate.
- Named breaks
- Fairway Escape and Stillwater Stay are fully prepaid. Cancel at least seven calendar days before arrival for a full refund; within seven days the payment is non-refundable. These are not flexible-room bookings.
- Hotel cancellation
- If the hotel itself cancels and cannot provide the confirmed stay, the fictional policy refunds the accommodation or package payment in full. The site does not promise payment of third-party travel or consequential costs.
- Group reservations
- A block of six or more rooms is treated as a group reservation with separately agreed written terms. No group cancellation percentage or discount should be invented from the standard individual-room tariff.
