Dogs and Pet-Friendly Stays

We offer a limited number of dog-friendly bedrooms and distinguish ordinary pets from assistance dogs. Please tell reservations before booking rather than arriving with an unannounced pet. A dog-friendly room does not provide unrestricted access to dining, golf or leisure areas. Owners are responsible for supervision, cleaning up and avoiding disturbance to other guests. The woodland route is available for on-lead walks during daylight, subject to ground conditions.

Visitor information

Dog-friendly inventory
Four of the 16 Classic Double rooms are designated dog-friendly. They must be specifically confirmed before booking; Family rooms, Twins and Garden Suites are not designated pet rooms.
Pet charge
The charge is £20 per dog per night, with a maximum of two dogs in a designated room. It is a nightly charge, not a one-off stay fee, and is additional to the room tariff.
Permitted areas
Pet dogs on leads may enter main reception and the lounge's marked dog-friendly section. They are not permitted in the Orchard Restaurant, treatment rooms, gym, pool, sauna or steam room.
Outdoor areas
Pet dogs on leads are welcome on the courtyard terrace and signed woodland walk. They are not permitted on either golf course, practice greens or range hitting area.
Unattended dogs
No. Dogs must not be left unattended in bedrooms, even in a crate. Owners need to make arrangements that comply with restricted dining and leisure access rather than leaving a pet during an activity.
Assistance dogs
Recognised assistance dogs are not subject to the £20 pet fee or designated pet-room restriction. Discuss arrangements with reservations; pool-water, sauna and steam-room restrictions still apply for safety.
Other pets
No ordinary pets other than dogs are accepted for overnight stays. The website does not offer kennels, pet sitting, dog grooming or a dog-sitting partnership.
