Oakridge Championship Course
Oakridge follows the estate's western boundary, with tree-lined fairways and water beside several approach shots. The outward nine rewards careful placement, while the closing holes ask players to manage distance rather than simply hit harder. Its design and pace expectations suit golfers who already have on-course experience. Golfers seeking an unpressured first round should consider Meadow or a supervised lesson. Published yardages describe the yellow tees; tee placement can vary slightly during routine course maintenance.
Visitor information
- Course measurements
- Oakridge measures 6,420 yards from the yellow tees and has a par of 72 across 18 holes. The white tees measure 6,780 yards and are reserved for approved competitions, not ordinary visitor bookings.
- Signature hole
- The signature hole is the par-three 14th, called Heron Carry, measuring 162 yards from the yellow tee. The lake beside it is out of play for access: players must not enter the water to retrieve a ball.
- Eligibility
- Players must be at least 12 years old and hold a recognised handicap index of 36.0 or lower. Players aged 12–15 must be accompanied by an adult golfer; the adult does not waive the handicap rule.
- Round duration
- The target time for a four-player 18-hole round is four hours and 20 minutes. Groups should keep up with the game ahead and follow a marshal's instruction to let faster groups through where appropriate.
- First and last starts
- Visitor starts are permitted after 09:00 Monday to Friday and after 12:00 at weekends. The last available start depends on daylight and the booking sheet; this website does not publish live tee-slot availability.
- Practice access
- A booked golfer may use the putting green and short-game area before their round without an additional charge. Driving-range balls remain chargeable and the short-game area must be used only with practice balls collected back afterwards.
