Golf Society Days
Society days combine a planned round with food and a named organiser. They are designed for groups, not as a way for a single visitor to claim a discounted package. The golf team prepares a written schedule once dates, numbers and eligibility are agreed. We can accommodate different dietary requirements with notice, but a provisional enquiry does not reserve a starting block. The organiser is responsible for communicating handicap, dress and arrival requirements to participants.
Visitor information
- Minimum group
- Society packages require at least 12 paying players and accept up to 40 players on one organised day. Larger proposals need an individual review and have no published package price.
- Birdie package
- The Birdie package costs £65 per player Monday to Friday. It includes coffee and a breakfast roll, 18 holes on Oakridge and a one-course meal after the round. Buggies and alcoholic drinks are excluded.
- Eagle package
- The Eagle package costs £82 per player Monday to Friday. It includes coffee and a breakfast roll, 30 range balls, 18 Oakridge holes and a two-course meal. It does not include overnight accommodation or a buggy.
- Weekend supplement
- Saturday and Sunday society starts are available only after 12:00, subject to approval, with a £14 per-player supplement to either package. The minimum 12-player charge still applies.
- Deposit and balance
- A 25% deposit is due on confirmation. Final player numbers, dietary requirements and the remaining balance are due 14 days before the event. Charges cannot fall below the 12-player minimum.
- Society cancellation
- Cancellation 30 or more days before the event forfeits the deposit only; 14–29 days before costs 50% of the confirmed total; 0–13 days before costs 100%. These rules replace the standard visitor 48-hour cancellation rule.
- Prizes and scoring
- A scorecard pack and a longest-drive marker are included on request. Physical prizes, engraved trophies and a professional scoring service are not included and have no published fixed price.
